So we did a little research. Six cities, nineteen towns, twenty villages, approximately 950,000 people. These are the numbers that combine to form the place where we live, Westchester County. We love it here. We love the people, we (usually) love the weather and we love the fact that we can have our suburban lifestyle without having to give up any of the advantages of living in the city. If only we could capture the unique qualities of a few of the people, places and events that make this place special and share them with the world.
The Westchester Project is built on creative ideas borrowed from filmmakers, writers and bloggers whose work we have admired over the years. It is meant to provide an eclectic view of Westchester County. The projects foundation is video, but we are sure that other forms of media will play a part as the site develops.
